Hellsing Ultimate VIII ova preview trailer!

Although this was posted on Friday, the premiere of the 3rd and final season of this series has been delayed to July 27, which is also the same day the BD/DVD will come out.

The anime's staff cited the effects of the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) disaster on the already tight production schedule and the desire for retakes as reasons for the one-month delay.

Ore-sama Kingdom and Hime Gal Paradise will get anime DVD

Shogakugan's Ciao Shojo magazine has announced in its latest edition that these two series will be bundled into an anime DVD.

Ore-sama Kingdom is the story of a shōjo manga creator who is still in school, her name is Nono Nonohara, ans she is a young manga artist who just enrolled in a new high school. She finds herself surrounded by a group of three "super-cute" guys.

Whereas Hime Gal Paradise follows Himeko Tachikawa, a quiet girl who goes to the all-female Chō Shibuya High School. A stunningly beautiful "Hime Gal" boy named Tochiotome Mikami transfers into her class, and he transforms Himeko into a cute girl as well. Wao launched Hime Gal Paradise last year, and the second compiled book volume shipped this past July. The anime adapts the story of how Himeko and Tochiotome met.

Well, if you wanted your double dose of pure bishonen guys, this is it :-)

Anime News Network will simulcast again OreImo and will premiere Togainu no Chi

After the incident with a hacker that leaked out unaired episodes in advance, ANN decided to simulcast again this series along with premiering Togainu no Chi, starting next week.

Togainu no Chi is the story of Akira, a young man who was made to participate in a deadly game called "Igura" in post-apocalyptical Japan in exchange for being freed from jail. His goal is to beat the "Il-Re", the strongest person in Igura.

The anime is based on the original playstation game, which was then adapted to two mangas and recently this anime. It belongs to the Boy's Love (shonen-ai) genre ;-)

The Anime News Network will simulcast OreImo!

The Anime News Network (ANN) has joined forces with Aniplex to simulcast its first series, and it will be none other than OreImo!

OreImo is known by the large name of Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai, meaning Your Little Sister isn't that Cute, and it's a TV comedy on the life of a closet female otaku and her annoying big brother who chases her to expose her for what she truly is!

The anime just premiered on Tokyo MX TV last Sunday.

Notice that Anime News Network (ANN) is not the same as the The Anime Network, which is streaming Hyakka Ryoran Samurai Girls.
