Naruto Shippuuden Episode 99 starts off with Tobi and Deidara. They were trying to find the 3-tailed beast. Tobi was so funny and careless, as always, while Deidara looked pissed off (hates being with the fun-loving Tobi).

Yuukimaru totally awakened the 3-tailed beast.
Meanwhile, everyone (team kakashi and team rinji) sensed the weird chakra coming from the 3-tailed beast and so Team Kakashi hurried to get to the weird chakra's location. But again, team rinji stopped them. As a result, Kakashi asked Naruto to go to the weird chakra's location alone while everyone else shall concentrate on fighting team rinji.
The 3-tailed beast finally appeared. Guren fought the beast and tried to contain it. At last, the beast was fully crystallized but only for a moment. The beast broke out of the crystal and went wild. Guren fought the beast again but failed. So Yuukimaru released his powers again and controlled the beast.
Meanwhile, here are Guren's new crystal style jutsu display against the 3-tailed beast.
