Slowly but surely...

Second week back after the Christmas break and we have been bombarded with various new and exciting briefs, excercises and programs to use. We have started having Flash and After effects workshops which is pretty cool as I have no knowledge in either of this programs. After using flash for an hour I have decided I really like it! It's pretty much Photoshop but with a timeline, and I am comfortable with photoshop so its quite interesting. I have yet to experience After Effects...

Anyway, whilst trawling the interweb, I remembered this illustrator/graphic designer/animator who did the graphics for an ace Salomon snowboard (lily). His name is heiko and he's pretty cool. He is German (yay!) and this is a little vid he's done -

I like the music, also the black and white contrasting. Shame it's not better quality!

Can't wait till we start doing life drawing again, which I think starts back on tomorrow. Also another brief we have been given is to design some backgrounds which is quiet cool. Need to go and draw some tree's and hedges!
